Steam penetration test for pre-vacuum steam sterilizers, designed to verify air removal and steam penetration in accordance with EN 285 and ISO 11140-1 standards. The Helix test uses a standardized test pack with a chemical indicator strip placed inside a restrictive device to challenge the sterilizer's ability to remove air and achieve steam penetration.
