Made from high-quality porcine gelatin with macroporous structure that is water-insoluble and provides rapid absorption capacity of 40-50 times its weight in blood or other fluids. The biocompatible and non-pyrogenic sponge adheres well to bleeding sites, promotes fibrin network formation essential for effective coagulation, and is completely resorbed within 3-4 weeks.
