VM 9 is a fine-structure veneering ceramic specifically developed for layering all-ceramic restorations on yttrium-stabilized zirconia frameworks with a thermal expansion coefficient of approximately 10.5 × 10⁻⁶/K. The ceramic features an extremely fine-grained surface structure after firing, making it easy to grind and polish to a high gloss while reducing plaque accumulation in the oral environment. It offers excellent aesthetic properties similar to natural enamel, with base powders providing a natural appearance that can be enhanced with fluorescent or opalescent layers, and is available in both Vitapan Classical and 3D-Master shade systems.
