VM 9 is a fine-structure feldspathic ceramic developed specifically for veneering zirconia frameworks (yttria-stabilized ZrO2) with a thermal expansion coefficient of approximately 10.5 × 10⁻⁶/K. The ceramic features an extremely fine-grained surface structure after firing, making it easy to grind and polish to a high luster while reducing plaque accumulation. VM 9 offers excellent aesthetic properties similar to natural enamel, with base dentin shades providing natural translucency that can be enhanced with fluorescent or opalescent layers.
