VM 9 is a fine-structure feldspathic ceramic developed for veneering yttria-stabilized zirconia frameworks with a thermal expansion coefficient of approximately 10.5 × 10⁻⁶/K. The ceramic features an extremely fine-grained surface structure after firing, allowing for easy grinding and polishing to high gloss while reducing plaque accumulation. It offers excellent aesthetic properties similar to natural enamel, with base dentins providing natural appearance that can be enhanced with fluorescent or opalescent layers.
