VM 9 is a fine-structure feldspathic ceramic specifically developed for veneering all-ceramic frameworks made of yttria-stabilized zirconia (ZrO2) with a thermal expansion coefficient of approximately 10.5 × 10-6/K-1. The material features an extremely fine-grained surface structure after firing, making it easy to grind and polish to a high luster while reducing plaque accumulation. VM 9 offers excellent aesthetic properties similar to natural enamel, with basic powders providing natural appearance that can be enhanced with fluorescent or opalescent layers.
