Vita VM 9 is a fine-structure feldspathic ceramic specifically developed for veneering yttria-stabilized zirconia frameworks with a coefficient of thermal expansion of approximately 10.5 × 10⁻⁶/K. The ceramic features an extremely fine-grained surface structure after firing, making it easy to grind and polish to a high luster while reducing plaque accumulation. It offers excellent esthetic properties similar to natural enamel, with base dentin powders providing natural appearance that can be enhanced with fluorescent or opalescent layers.
