Chirlac Braided is a synthetic absorbable braided surgical suture made from polyglycolic acid polymer with a surface coating that is non-antigenic and non-fibroproductive. The suture maintains 75% of its tensile strength after 14 days and 50% after 3 weeks, with complete resorption occurring in 80-90 days through hydrolysis. The violet-dyed material causes minimal acute inflammatory tissue reaction and is absorbed gradually without visible change in thread thickness. Package contains 24 pieces, each with 3 needleless loops of 45cm length.
