Chirlac Rapid is a synthetic, absorbable, braided surgical suture made from polyglycolic acid polymer with a surface coating that is non-antigenic and non-fibroproductive. The suture undergoes gradual loss of tensile strength through hydrolysis, retaining 50% of original strength after 5 days and complete loss after 10-14 days, with full resorption occurring at 42 days. It causes minimal acute inflammatory tissue reaction and is available in natural (undyed) or dyed variants. Package contains 24 pieces of 45cm length with DS19 reverse cutting needle.
