Chirlac Braided is a synthetic absorbable braided surgical suture made from polyglycolic acid polymer with a non-antigenic surface treatment. The suture causes minimal acute inflammatory reaction in tissues and is absorbed via hydrolysis, retaining 75% tensile strength at 14 days and 50% at 3 weeks, with complete resorption occurring in 80-90 days. The violet-dyed braided filament provides excellent handling characteristics and knot security for soft tissue approximation. Package contains 24 pieces of 45cm length.
