Vita VM 9 is a fine-structure veneering ceramic developed specifically for layering all-ceramic restorations on yttria-stabilized zirconia frameworks with a coefficient of thermal expansion of approximately 10.5 × 10⁻⁶/K. The ceramic features an extremely fine-grained surface structure after firing, making it easy to grind and polish to a high luster while reducing plaque accumulation. Like all Vita VM materials, VM 9 offers excellent aesthetic properties similar to natural enamel, with base dentins providing natural appearance that can be enhanced with fluorescent or opalescent layers.
